SUB-REGIONAL FISHERIES COMMISSION (SRFC) PERMANENT SECRETARIAT NOTICE OF RECRUITMENT OF AN MCS TECHNICIAN
Created in 1985, the Sub-Regional Fisheries Commission (SRFC) is an intergovernmental organization for fisheries cooperation comprising seven countries (Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, Senegal, and Sierra Leone). The SRFC headquarters is based in Dakar, Senegal. The Sub-Regional Fisheries Commission (SRFC) has a Sub-Regional Monitoring, Control, and Surveillance Center (SOCU) in Banjul, The Gambia, which is an essential part of the system for combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. In order to strengthen the operational capacities of SOCU, the SRFC is recruiting an MCS Technician to support fisheries monitoring, control, and surveillance activities.

Contract Type: 1-year fixed-term contract (renewable after a positive evaluation)
