Spcsrp | Sub regional Fisheries Commission

After taking office on May 5, 2023, the new Permanent Secretary of the Sub-Regional Fisheries Commission (SRFC), Dr Khallahi Brahim, paid courtesy calls on the Ministers in charge of fisheries of SRFC member states. He met successively with HE Mr. Papa Sagna MBAYE (Senegal), HE Mr. Musa S. DRAMMEH, Chairman-in-Office of the Conference of Ministers (Gambia), HE Mr Mohamed Abidine MAYIF (Mauritania) and HE Mrs Charlotte DAFFE (Guinea).
Discussions focused on ways and means of revitalizing the SRFC in the near future.
These visits enabled the Ministers to express their willingness to support the SRFC and to provide the necessary resources to finance its activities, notably through the payment of their respective countries' membership dues.
